In the summer of 2023, we both were working together at Spencer Lake Christian Center. Lily had trained Caleb in the kitchen. We would jam out to rock music and laugh at each other's jokes. After that summer, Caleb went back to California and Lily stayed in Wisconsin. We bumped into each other again and Lily asked for Caleb's number. In September of 2024, we made our relationship official! Caleb spent a lot of time with Lily's family, learning about making maple syrup, woodworking, and the dynamic of a large family. Lily would learn to travel, get out of her comfort zone, and the dynamics of a smaller family. On January 8th, 2026, Caleb proposed to Lily near Avila Beach, California. We are excited to be planning our wedding and the rest of our future together!
